Four evening running sessions in the lead up to City2Surf and Pub2Pub to get us in the mood and supplement our race training…
When is Run August?
You got it. August. Thursdays at 7pm to be more precise.
+ Thursday 1 August – speed/hill session
+ Thursday 8 August – 6 to 8km
+ Sunday 11 August – City to Surf – get entering before it’s too late!
+ Thursday 15 August – speed/hill session
+ Thursday 22 August – 6 to 8km
+ Sunday 25 August – Pub2Pub – get entering before it’s too late!
Where is Run August?
Meet at 7pm at the end of Wentworth Street opposite Ben & Jerry’s. Routes/locations will be different each week.
How much is Run August?
Free for OzSquad members and PT clients who already own an OzSquad singlet.
$28 for non-singlet owners (non-members welcome too) – singlet included!
(Please note, wearing your singlet for Run August, particularly on race days, is also part of the deal 😉 . You are however welcome to join the Run August sessions even if you are not entering the events – wearing your singlet about Man-town on a Saturday night is an acceptable payment…)
How do I sign up for Run August?
By email to carly@ozsquad.com.au or by joining the Facebook events (making sure you confirm your singlet size if you aren’t already one of the cool kids).
Will I get a PB if I come to Run August?
Maybe. Please note that these runs should not be the only training you do for the events! They are a little-added OzSquad extra only and you should already be getting out for other runs to get you race ready.
